Nicola Damiani

Nicola Damiani is a self-taught Italian artist living and working in Greece. His artistic research is rooted in emotion, memory, identity and the contradictions of contemporary society. He works across painting, mixed media, enamel, collage and photography, using matter and symbolism to transform personal experiences into universal questions.

His practice moves between intimate memories and social observation, exploring themes such as consumerism, faith, technology, human relationships and the search for identityDamiani is the founder of EPOKO – En la Epoko de Kreado – Koloro kaj Emocio, an open contemporary art project dedicated to creation, dialogue and collaboration across different artistic disciplines.

His works have been exhibited internationally in Italy, Greece, France, the United States and Russia.
