Pieer Bertig

I’m Pieer Luigi Bertig, a Romanian contemporary artist, born in Romania in 1983, precisely Brăila (small cute town by the Donau), not far for the Delta. I come from a Italo-Romanian family, surrounded by artists and their art. Grandfather Giuseppe Bertig carved in stone, uncles Ervin Holtier painter and sculptor and Vittorio Holtier painter and scenographer and last but not least, mother Mariana costume designer.

I participated in the first exhibition in 1996, at the Brăila Art Gallery, with works that represented static nature, under the guidance of the teacher and painter Radu Pencea.

Today I paint an average of 100 works per year, which makes me happy to know they decorate several houses in Romania and abroad.
