Claire Niquet

I was born on November 16, 1962 in Picardy, I live in the Paris region and also in the provinces near Chatellerault.

My influences are Kimura, Joan Mitchell, but also Bonnard, Vuillard. I am close to Abstract Expressionism.
After studying Applied Arts and Métiers d'arts in volume in the workshop directed by the designer Serge Mouille, I continued in sculpture at the César des Beaux-Arts workshop in Paris.
My studies allowed me to work as a model-maker for big brands and also in scenography for opera and theater.
The courses in the city of Paris opened up the world of painting to me, with the teaching of André Bouzereau.
Oil painting is my favorite medium.

Saint I have exhibited in the regions: Uzès, Verneuil sur Avre, Valery sur Somme, in Burgundy. In Paris, Galerie le bonheur est dans l'instant, Galerie de la Grande Arche, Galerie Eléonore Dubrule, and at various open days in Paris or in the inner suburbs, as well as a group exhibition in Amsterdam.
