Tee Rose

I am a self-taught artist based in Texas. My primary mediums are colored pencils, soft pastels, and acrylic paint. My work mixes realism with fantasy, and focuses on natural subjects like landscapes, flowers, and birds. I focus on natural subjects because of the softness and fluidity of light, color, and shadow in nature. I use black and dark grey in many of my paintings because of their ability to add extra dimension and shadow, and because they contrast well with the bright colors and metallics I use in my work.
