Artus Now

Artusnow was born in France but he lives and works in Madrid. He is a self-taught professional constantly exploring the limits between photography and painting, using digital tools to create hyper-textured, colors-driven, powerful artworks.

He specialized in large format creations, with incredible textures, complex combinations of colors, that can be figurative or abstracts. Each original piece is printed on cotton canvases, signed and unique.

The largest painting he has created so far is a 270 x 650 cm mural for the offices of the german company Bender in Madrid.

He now defines himself as a “Graphic DJ” that use several layers of photographs to create new digital images, like Disc Jockeys skillfully mix several layers of pre-existing songs to create a new piece. The original layers of photographs often disappear toward a more painterly poetic interpreted view of the reality, with powerful psychedelic colors.

From September 14 to October 9, 2021, which showed a selection of artworks by national and international artists, exploring art from different disciplines in ABartium Contemporary Art Studio & Gallery, Vic, Barcelona (spain). Curator: Eva Cunill.

“Objet d’Art”,
From October 15 to October 21, 2021, a physical contemporary collective exhibition, which showed a selection of artworks by British and international artists in The Holy Art Gallery, London (UK).
