Agnes Russo

Agnes Russo is an abstract artist based in Houston TX.

Her peaceful and calming art is meant to bring more moments of serenity in our busy lives. Agnes soft colors, transparent layers and delicate strokes reflect her memories and love for nature. Flowers are often present in her work, and they are a symbol of her childhood in the countryside.

Agnes was born in Poland in a small place surrounded by gorgeous nature and wheatfields. She studied social preventive psychology and the need of being present for others and being helpful is easy to spot in her work. Her minimalistic yet elegant art is easy adapted to all kind of interiors.

She loves painting with watercolors and acrylics, but her work always remains light and airy with organic marks and shapes. She's not afraid of leaving empty neutral spaces in her canvases as an open invitation to imagine and experience space and freedom.

Her international background and all the challenges she faced in life taught her how to appreciate simplicity and small things. Agnes currently works in her home studio in Houston TX.
