😊 I am an Assistant Professor of English who finds as much meaning in colors as in words. While my academic life is shaped by structure, interpretation, and analysis, my creative life moves in the opposite direction—toward freedom, instinct, and quiet surrender. Painting is not just a hobby for me; it is a deeply personal space where I can exist without expectations.
I am drawn to simplicity—in forms, in colors, and in ideas. I don’t believe in confining myself to a single style or identity as an artist. Instead, I choose to explore, to experiment, and to remain open to whatever the moment offers. My work is guided less by planning and more by feeling, much like a child approaching a blank canvas with curiosity and joy.
I value spontaneity and trust the creative process. Overthinking has little place in my art; I prefer to let things unfold naturally. Each piece I create feels like a step along an unknown path, one that reveals itself as I move forward.
For me, art is an act of surrender...connection—with myself, with emotion, and with the larger universe. I create not to define, but to discover. ❤️
