Andrea Rowan

Until the age of 8, my significant hearing loss went undiagnosed. The quiet (almost silent?) world I lived in as a child nurtured a heightened appreciation of my visual world. So enamored by the intense kaleidoscope of colors and shapes surrounding me that an intense love of drawing and painting was born. It was at the age of five, while still in kindergarten that I declared I would be an Artist. Today the paintings I create spring from my earliest loves of art, my horses, time in nature and in my garden. Travel and adventure also deeply feeds my soul and my creative process. The inspiration for paintings that I discover are an integral part of my works.
