EXHIBITIONS
Udiyana was born in Denpasar in Bali in 1969. Growing up in a family devoid of artistic tendency or interest, Udiyana believes his artistic leanings to be a spiritual gift. Constantly driven to paint he exhibited in Czechoslovakia in 1986, but subsequently his work has only appeared in Indonesia. This is the first time he has shown in the UK.
The ancient decorative traditions of Indonesia, the colours, light and spirituality of this complex culture shine through his work.
