Anna Maria Saviano

Anna Maria Saviano (Caserta, 1982) attended the Accademia di Belle Arti in Naples, specializing in Visual Arts. She started her exhibition activity at Big Torino 2000, and then went on to take part in various collectives like Magical Mystery Tour at the Wunderkammern in Rome, organized by Marcella Ferro and Massimo Bignardi. In addition, her work appeared in national projects, such as 13x17 at Padiglione Italia, organized by Philippe Daverio and Jean Blanchaert, and international projects, such as Napoli@Beograd: Urban Connections. In 2010 she was chosen for the Premio Combat and the National Prize of Arts; that same year she got her solo exhibition In precario equilibrio (In unstable equilibrium), organized by Pasquale Ruocco, texts by Valerio Rivosecchi. In June 2011 she participated in the 54th edition of the Biennale di Venezia, exhibiting her work at the Tese di San Cristoforo. Some of her works have been chosen for institutional spaces in Naples, such as Palacongressi Oltremare, or used as a part of urban requalification projects. She currently lives and works in Naples.
