Cristian Toledo was born on March 11, 1961, in Santiago de Chile and is currently residing in Guadalajara, Mexico with the love of his life. Cristian received his art training at the Alhambra Palace in Santiago de Chile. His first solo exhibition “My Heart Speaks” was held at the La Alhambra Palace, Chile’s National Society of Fine Arts. His paintings have won numerous awards and can be found in many private collections around the world. Cristian’s painting is inspired by the simplicity of nature, the color of life, and a dream state called “Onirica”. Influenced by Vincent van Gogh, Cristian uses bold, dramatic brushstrokes and vibrant color schemes to capture basic human emotions such as love, joy, surprise, fear, sadness, anger, pride, and shame as depicted by nature, objects, our surroundings, and our imaginations
