Damaris Agressova

I am an abstract painter. My work is about feelings, moments, and inner states that are often difficult to describe with words. I paint in layers, letting the image develop over time, sometimes covering what was there before until only the essence remains.

I am inspired by emotions, movement, silence, and the invisible things we experience inside but rarely show outside. Abstract art allows me to express what cannot be said directly — tension, calm, presence, change, and the space in between.

For me, painting is not about creating something perfect. It is about being honest in the moment, letting the process happen, and allowing the painting to become what it needs to be.

I had my first art exhibition in 2021 at the local municipal center in the Czech Republic.
