Grégoire Korganow is a French artist, photographer, and a film maker.
Having worked as a documentary photographer, Grégoire Korganow, who was a photojournalist with many renowned national and international newspapers, decided in 2012 to dedicate himself to projects of personal interest. His images have been shown widely in many prestigious venues in France and around the world.
His approach to the body, a sensitive zone where he reveals contrasting movements (tension and release, restriction and freedom, power and fragility, and presence and absence …), brought him to also explore aspects of performance and to begin incorporating film into the production of his pieces. He has also created a body of work involving live performance, notably in installations at Montpellier Danse (Sortie de scène [Stage exit], 2014), Chaillot-TNC (L’instant d’avant [The instant before], 2020).
