I graduated from RIT {Rochester Institute of Technology} in 1984 and moved to NYC...I had an art exhibit of many large oil paintings, a huge folding screen painting, some sculptures, three photographs that I collaborated on with two friends and a children's book inspired by my junior year at Salzburg College in Austria...The book consists of 28, 7 1/2" x 9 1/2" extremely detailed oil paintings of a groundhog from deep in the mountains of Southern Austria...His name is "Todd die Mankie" (which in German sounds like "Goat thee Donkey") and he follows the images from his nightmare to discover their meaning...He travels to the City of Salzburg and convinces his friend named "Peter der Igel" (which rhymes with "Gator their Beagle") to go to America to discover the creatures of his dream...They go across the sea to New York City and on to the Bronx Zoo to discover the American Eagle and Monkey...Their difficulty with the English language causes lots of confusion, but "Margot the Monkey" helps them understand who they really are...I don't want to say much about the story and give it away...You have to go along for the ride and experience it unfold to truly appreciate their adventures...It is now available through me as an 8 1/2" x 11" har...
