Benito Angelini was born in 1995 in Acerra (Naples, Italy). His first encounter with art took place at the age of thirteen through graffiti, which he experienced as a powerful medium to express rebellion and creative freedom. Following an initial self-taught phase, he decided to deepen his passion for art by enrolling at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, where he is currently studying Painting. This transition allowed him to transform the instinctive energy of his early days into a more conscious, structured, and technical research. His artistic production is centered on experimentation, frequently utilizing diverse materials and mediums. Throughout his academic journey, alongside painting and experimenting with acrylics, inks, and mixed media, he developed and refined a personal practice defined as "photo-painting." This unique technique involves the direct physical manipulation of photographic film, which is subsequently painted, scanned, and printed onto various types of surfaces.Angelini’s work evolves in parallel with a profound philosophical reflection, maintaining a constant process of inquiry. Currently, his artistic and conceptual research focuses on the exploration of the concept of the Infinite.
