Anna Zelichowska

Anna Zelichowska is a Polish-British artist and an architect. She was born in Poland, Lodz in 1979. She currently lives and works in London, UK. She studied architecture at the Technical University of Lodz and art at the University of the Arts London. She also graduated from an art course at The Art Academy in London.

Her paintings are held in private collections across Poland and England.

Her works are inspired by nature, literature, architecture, history, spirituality as well as political and social processes and changes taking place in the modern world.

She creates in a variety of mediums and techniques, however, her favourite medium is oil paints on canvas. She specialises in figurative work but also frequently touches upon surrealism and socio-political themes. Her landscapes evoke an atmosphere of mystery and surreal beauty.
