Denise Rodriguez Santana

My passion for horses, like many, started young. My art and doodling always revolved around horses, always evolving and experimenting to make my pictures more life like and express the essence of horse.
With both student and work life, followed by bringing up my two beautiful daughters, my opportunity for creativity drastically declined.
As life has progressed, I have finally re kindled my passion for equine art, and I’m thrilled and delighted by the freedom to once again enjoy creating art work, now as a matured and experienced woman!

Having had an accomplished career in both scientific laboratory work and within education, I am now looking forward to spending more time doing the thing that brings me peace and joy: painting and studying the equine form.
Although self taught, my experience and emersion in the equine world has given me insight and feel for the horses movement and character, something I will always endeavour to capture.
