Marcello Nass Ruggiero, a sound/visual artist, uses sound as a tool and platform for a series of projects that explore and investigate our deep connections with the environment and how we understand and interact with signals and the visual universe, through sound interferences.

Photography plays a fundamental role in his practice and artistic concepts, a career that he leads in parallel with his sound work.

During a 15-year hiatus from his career, he dedicated himself exclusively to analog photography and black and white laboratory, through authorial essays.

On this account you will find from traditional and classic photography and projects related with his research where sound are intrinsic with the construction and the visualization of the image.

His work has been present in several competitions, as well as being present in national and international exhibitions, such as Gammelgaard (DK), and in private collections.
