Evelyne Grob

Evelyne Grob-Müller was born in 1957 on Lake Zurich, where she still lives and paints today with her family.

For thirteen years she worked as an assistant with her father, who at the time was one of the most renowned fashion photographers in Switzerland. She also photographed independently and spent a great deal of time developing photographs and retouching them.

Despite receiving excellent and interesting offers as a photographer, she decided, much to her father’s disappointment, after the birth of her two sons, Patrick and Philip, to devote herself entirely to her family, her home, and her garden.

However, she never wanted to let her creative spirit rest completely. Alongside gardening and photography, she gradually turned her attention to painting.

Since 1998, an almost biographical body of work has developed, inspired by nature, her family, and her home.

Her colorful paintings are striking not least because of their scale and radiate humor and joy for life, freed from the rules of traditional perspective.
