John Berrick

While writing, designing and directing theatre shows, John kept visual diaries of all his travels - references, sketches, swatches and scraps torn from brochures, magazines and newspapers. He discovered collage as a form to unite these disparate origins and materials. John's style has evolved into the increasingly abstract and evocative, culminating in a distinctive personal expression.

John Berrick studied at the National Art School in Sydney, subsequently teaching art and drama.
