Duilio Lopez

I am a painter and engraver. I started my drawing and painting studies very young, at the age of ten; at
thirteen i began serious studies of the naked human figure with a model, under the guidance of a teacher,
and then i continue with academic studies.
I consider myself a figurative artist with abstract vision and inclination, and i'm convinced that ours
perception of the world is topological and later corrected by our visual culture.
My task as an artist is not to create attractive shells, but to penetrate the marrow of myself and of reality, to find the pulsating and mysterious force of Life, only of such authenticity can gushing out the authentic beauty.
