Sébastien Fournil

Sébastien Fournil is a French photographer with Parisian and Mediterranean roots, working across street photography, portraiture, and landscape. His work is guided by a contemplative, benevolent gaze — observing rather than intruding, framing rather than directing. From the endless film unfolding before his eyes, he selects the images and frames that resonate: solitary figures, quiet gestures, moments of unscripted presence. His black-and-white series "Be Yourself" explores individuality through subjects who stand apart from their expected surroundings. Alternating between minimalism and detail, his photographs invite slow, attentive viewing — images that reward those who take the time to look.
