Akintunde Odesola

Akintunde Odesola is a Nigerian contemporary artist and poet, whose style reflects influences from romanticism and expressionism . Odesola is known for his distinctive thick impasto paintings applied with a palette knife, creating an optical effect that appears abstract up close but resolves into detailed scenes from a distance. He maintains a full-time studio practice since 2009 , while his pallet mirrors matters of the heart, putting values into emotional freedom. Projecting an independent mood ,extending realisim. As a member of SNA( Society Of Nigeria Artists), His 2018 solo exhibition at National Museum Lagos ,paved the way for other group exhibitions and auctions he participated in.
