Jessica Maskiell

My journey into painting began with an eye injury—a detached retina in my left eye—that left me with distorted vision. This visual impairment, while challenging, became the driving force behind my abstract style. I use a rich array of colors to compensate for the way things appear to me, creating paintings that reflect my unique perception. The abstract quality of my art, born from this visionary perspective, allows me to transform my experience into something spectacular and distinctly my own.

I have a college degree in Applied Science, major (1990) in TV Production.
