French artist Armajay enjoys combining traditional art with digital art.
He has developed an artistic practice that bridges traditional techniques and digital tools. Initially inspired by the Impressionist painters and introduced to drawing and painting at the age of twenty-five, he first experimented with acrylics and then oils before turning to digital art—without, however, abandoning traditional art.
His work is characterized by an aesthetic approach rooted in Romantic classicism and Gothic influences. He strives to capture the majesty of architecture, the power of sculptural figures, and the presence of nature. His compositions, which often feature mythical creatures or detailed bas-reliefs, play on contrasts of light to create an atmosphere that is both timeless and vibrant.
Through a palette that is often monochromatic or structured by specific color combinations, the artist seeks to establish a connection between his personal history and the universality of figurative forms.
