Óscar Garcés Olozagarre

Óscar opens the palm of his hand to grasp the brush and with it shows the furrows of his soul before the emptiness of the canvas. Furrows created with strokes full of matter, of living pigment through which her experiences emerge, the sap of a life that perhaps looks like a dream.

He is a traveler by birth, a collector of urban scenes, of hidden messages that scratch his eyes. He manages to situate the viewer before the light orgy that flows through the arteries of the Big Apple, sipping a drink of freedom on the rough skin of Route 66 or contemplating the beautiful decadence of New Orleans, to decipher the iconic essence of American culture that remains engraved in the pupils of our audiovisual imagery.

Olozagarre concentrates the emotion of the moment in a brushstroke and redeems lost memories in a pictorial work that has been exhibited in places such as the Palacio de Sástago, Centro de Historias, Galería Finestra, Escuela de Artes de Zaragoza, Palacio de Congresos, Casa de Cultura de Jaca or Museum of Santa María de Albarracín, among others.
