My life has always been interesting. I tried to make it interesting. My profession dictated that. I said "profession" when painting really is synonymous to life for me. Painting is neither a profession, nor a vocation. It is a lifestyle. Paper, paints, canvas turn into fine paintings. Small or large fine paintings. Parallel to that, works of applied art, work done in the sphere of opera, theater. But I must confess that no matter how I love what was bestowed upon me, I still have a deeply cherished dream. A yet unrealized dream. I always thought how wonderful it would have been if God had given me talent for singing.

Having said that, I know that I am given the best gift. After all, painters have the advantage of creating art independently, alone. Solitude is God's most wondrous gift to us. A person is born alone and always remains lonely. But one learns lessons from life: experiences spiritual flights, overcomes great difficulties and adversity. Not everyone is capable of that, not everyone possesses that ability. Hardly anyone can guess the innermost changes of emotions one experiences. There are secrets known only to him, voices that only he can hear.
