My work incorporates the negative space and flow of East Asian painting alongside the colors and textures of Western painting. I naturally traverse the boundaries between Eastern and Western art, seeking moments where distinct sensibilities harmonize within a single canvas.

Painting has occupied a significant portion of my life since childhood.

For a long time, I have observed nature, everyday landscapes, and scenes from my memories, recording them in my paintings. this process has transcended a mere hobby and become a way of life.

In my work, I prioritize an atmosphere that becomes more comfortable the longer one gazes at it, rather than flashy stimulation. I seek to capture moments such as the light of nature, the air of the seasons, and quiet landscapes using my own unique colors and brushstrokes.

I experiment with diverse expressions by utilizing the blending of watercolors, the negative space characteristic of East Asian painting, and the deep texture unique to oil painting. Through canvases that are sometimes calm and meditative, and at other times free and spontaneous, I express the flow of emotions and space.
