Meet Zoe Anker, a dynamic force in the art world, merging the vibrancy of colour with a background in steeped fashion.
Drawing inspiration from brutal architecture and the organic beauty of nature, her abstract creations form a visual symphony of contrasts. With a passport filled with global adventures, Zoe infuses her work with the diverse hues and textures encountered during her travels. Creating a kaleidoscopic journey through the intersection of art, fashion and the wonder of the natural world. Step into Zoe’s world, where every piece of work is a testament to a life lived in colour.
Zoe Anker studied MA Design for Textiles Future at Central St Martins College of Art and Design, London; graduating in 2004.
Since that time she worked within the fashion Industry, before returning to her passion for printmaking full time.
Silkscreen printing has always been Zoe’s medium of choice, whether that be art pieces on paper or fashion fabrics. Zoe has a strong passion for the juxtaposition of colour, geometric shape and mark making, with the use of layers to create interesting and unique forms.
Zoe is very much a "process" led artist and loves to work in a playful and free manner.
