Nat Bess

Nat Bess is a Copenhagen-based painter working in acrylic on canvas with professional markers.
Trained as a dentist and later in art history at the Repin Academy in St. Petersburg, she brings a precise structural eye to her practice. Her work centers on one recurring gesture — the segmented arc, a form she discovered rather than invented.
Through dense interlocking chains she builds unstable visual fields where order briefly surfaces only to fracture and dissolve. Colour acts as a living force that shapes and transforms structure, echoing the fractal logic found in nautilus shells, neural networks and galactic arms.
