Juliia Satyr

My name is Yulia Satyr — I am an artist who blends Ukrainian traditions with contemporary art. I was born in 1980 in a Ukrainian village, where I still live and create, drawing inspiration from the history and culture of my homeland. I hold two degrees and am currently a student at the National Academy of Managerial Staff of Culture and Arts.
I began painting in childhood, growing up surrounded by Ukrainian songs and traditions instilled in me by my grandparents — passionate patriots. My art is a dialogue between the past and the future, an exploration of cultural identity and national memory.
Today, Ukrainian artists create under extremely difficult conditions — to the sounds of sirens and explosions, sometimes losing their studios and homes. Yet art becomes our shield and our voice, through which we tell the world the truth, the pain, and the resilience of our people. I believe that every painting is a small testimony that even in times of danger, the Ukrainian soul continues to sing.

Graduated from Rokytnyansk comprehensive school No. 4, from 1995 to 1998. studied at the Korsun-Shevchenko Pedagogical College, from 1998 to 2001. - Kyiv University named after Borys Grinchenko, majoring in "Ukrainian Philology", since 2023 a student of the National Academy of Managers of Culture and Arts, majoring in "fine arts, restoration".
