Maitreyee Nimbolkar is a contemporary visual artist and visual storyteller based in Pune, India. Since beginning her artistic journey in 2015, she has developed a practice that moves fluidly between realism and abstraction, creating works that invite viewers into spaces of lived experience, dreams, and introspection.

Originally trained as a Chartered Accountant (All India Rank 1), she transitioned from a corporate career to pursue art full-time, developing her practice through self-directed study, workshops, and curatorial dialogue. A formative nine-month journey across Europe in 2019 further shaped her artistic direction.
She has also completed one year post graduation course in Indian Aesthetics from Jnanapravah, Mumbai.
