Fathan Haq

Fathanhaq, born in 2003, is an Indonesian abstract artist whose practice explores emotion, movement, and personal expression through abstract forms and compositions.

His works are driven by an intuitive process, where shapes, gestures, textures, and colors come together to create a visual language of their own. One of his recurring approaches, CALIGHRAFITY, reflects his exploration of expressive marks and spontaneous gestures within abstract compositions.

Rather than representing specific subjects, Fathan’s paintings focus on creating an experience—allowing viewers to interpret and connect with each work in their own way.

Alongside his artistic practice, Fathan has a background in interior design, which influences his sensitivity toward composition, balance, space, and visual experience.
