Idoia Lertxundi is a contemporary Basque American artist who studied AI at Westminster University in the 90s. She is inspired by deep conversational portraiture that bring warmth and life to the piece itself. Her works explore race, acting and nostalgia Americana. Private portraiture moments become graphically public, produced in bold colour dyes.

According to Idoia Lertxundi herself, “It’s AI and the artistic trained eye that enables me to create images from the bygone eras into the present.”
