Maruta Koncevica

Maruta Koncevica is a professional textile artist and painter whose practice moves freely across disciplines, engaging with the social environment through painting, textiles, photography, and sculpture. Her work is rooted in experimentation, where materials, techniques, and ideas intersect without rigid boundaries.

The artist deliberately blurs the perception of time in her creative language—past, present, and future dissolve into a single, unified whole. This timeless perspective allows her works to exist beyond linear narratives, inviting the viewer into a contemplative and intuitive experience. Koncevica seeks to create artworks that possess an inner life, a sense of soul that resonates emotionally rather than intellectually alone.
