About my art

I find the most intense expression of myself in the study of landscapes. Landscapes are my bridge between emotions and reality. I use landscapes in order to investigate human nature and transform feelings into something real and concrete. Everyone can identify himself with an emotion, an atmosphere told in the narrative of a landscape.
I’m also a great supporter of figurative art and ancient painting techniques. I use to copy old Masters’ paintings in order to remain connected with the roots of the art itself and the spirit and teachings of the great painters of the past.
I search for poetry in the little things, driven by an overambitious desire to involve and inspire the world towards a harmonious and positive view of reality. There is so much beauty that a single lifetime is not enough to describe it all. Every single grain is a piece of a vast puzzle of collective beauty.

Bio

Describing myself in just a few lines is an impossible challenge. I’ll simply say this about myself:
I was born in 1984 in Rome and consider myself a curious and dynamic person. I love changing, experimenting and creating. I have always painted, but my artistic training is mainly self-taught, certainly not academic, although I have been able to ‘steal with my eyes’ from in-person and online lessons and workshops with teachers of the stature of Adriano Fida and his assistant Enrico Giulia, Daniela Astone and Diana Buitrago.
I have tried many techniques and styles, but my greatest love has undoubtedly always been oil on canvas.
My formal education has its roots in the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy at Roma Tre, where I graduated in Literature and Intercultural Translation. From there, a myriad of experiences in Italy and abroad emerged, all sharing a single common denominator: diversity. Whether linguistic, cultural or social, every experience in this field has led me to explore human nature with curiosity, interest and a desire to constantly question my own value system. My desire for life and personal growth drives me to constantly step outside my comfort zone and continually challenge myself.
