Eoin Barry

Eoin Barry is a lecturer of Art and Design in Hoxton, London. Graduating from Limerick School of Art and Design with a bachelors in fine art printmaking, a masters in socially engaged art and a PGCE from the University of Ulster. He received an award for excellence demonstrated during his degree from Limerick Printmakers which culminated in a solo show. Eoin has exhibited nationally and internationally in a variety of group shows and created a variety of street art projects across Ireland. Eoin is originally from Ireland, the majority of past work was influenced by his hometown of Limerick. During a 15 year long project he managed to re-brand his hometown of Limerick, which now is commonly refereed to as The 061. Eoin's current collection on display is a series of photographs of old paint palettes he found in an old art room in London. Currently Eoin is working on a series of paintings based on these photographs and figuring out how to translate the photographs into silkscreen.
