Khalid Assallami is a self-taught Moroccan artist born in Agadir in 1983.
The artist's work is a form of union between his culture, his different beliefs and symbols that flow from it and his own sensitivity.
Through his installations deliberately resuscitated from a process of recycling wood, iron and the use of natural pigments, the artist seeks to embark us on pagan stories very buried in his universe in order to enlighten our gaze towards a source age-old and immemorial culture not widely exposed and generally misunderstood.
The artistic approach is as much personal as collective insofar as the artist allows himself to appropriate the myth not exclusively for the purpose of personal exhibitions but with the aim of also creating cultural bridges and arousing questioning. on our ancestral assets in common in spaces where points in common can be created and where a dialogue can at least open up.
