Christiane Oliveira Jordão

Chris Jordão, visual artist, Brazilian, self-taught, was born in
01/31/1973 in São José do Rio Preto/São Paulo and lives in
Votuporanga/Sao Paulo.
The interest in art emerged in childhood in the area of ​​dancing and painting.
ceramics, but it was at the age of 48, as a form of therapy, that he started the
watercolors and the basic theories of colors, light and
shadow, who professionalized herself artistically with acrylic painting on
screen.

The creative process begins with the observation of everyday life, either through
shapes, colors, light, shade and smells, your feelings/emotions
and your dreams; seeking to express the beautiful through mixing
of primary colors, black and white, forming “nuances” and
unexpected. The female and animal figure, with deep gazes, well
like flowers, together with colors and angular shapes, combined with
framing the figure close to the spectator, give a tone of
drama to the various compositions.
