Richard Holdsworth

I am a UK based artist, living on the South-East coast of England near Brighton, a town well-known as a creative hub. I have a passion for pen and ink, which i use to capture and produce images of the natural world, and especially bird and sealife. I take inspiration from many, many artists, too many to list here, although local artist "CJP", Dan Hillier and Dave White all stand out. My aim is to produce pieces that delight viewers with their fine detail, tonal depth and (when not working in noir!) vibrancy and movement.

I am almost entirely self-taught, having been drawing in one form or another since the age of four.
