Dr Clarence Gardener

Dr. Clarence Gardener is an interdisciplinary public health researcher, educator, musician, and artist. As the founder of the Aesthetic Determinants of Health (ADOH) and Aesthetic Determinants of Stress (ADOS) frameworks, he is pioneering a new area of scholarship examining how aesthetic environments influence physiology, stress regulation, health, and quality of life.

Dr. Gardener is Adjunct Faculty at Unity Environmental University. His artwork, created in a style he calls Transformative Expressionism, explores the intersection of public health, environmental psychology, physiology, art, and human experience through color, form, and emotion.
