Youkyung Seo

Working mainly on the iPad, I investigate the ways in which disparate visual elements converge, generating organic relationships, emotional resonance, and a deliberate embrace of imperfection as an essential aesthetic quality. While mechanical processes inevitably contribute to the production, my intention is to construct images that are visually rich, conceptually grounded, and capable of communicating with a force that surpasses mere technical execution.

Graduated from the Department of Art Education at Teachers College with a major in Fine Arts.
