Peter George d’Angelino Tap explores the interplay between couture and tapestry. Rooted in the timeless storytelling tradition, he weaves together myths, legends and abstract concepts to create a textile vision of the human experience.
He is known for his Sartorial Statues and monumental needle-felted and embroidered tapestries that highlight the interconnectedness of nature, life and storytelling, offering a deeply human perspective on the world once described by Thomas Carlyle as ‘a Living Garment, woven and ever-a-weaving in the Loom of Time’.
