Anna Fateeva

Anna is an Ukrainian artist and designer whose artistic practice explores the relationship between luxury, identity, desire, and contemporary visual culture. Her education in design within an architectural university shaped her approach to composition, structure, space, and visual balance, providing a strong foundation for her artistic practice.

Working primarily with bold colour, acrylic, oil, and gold leaf, Fateeva creates contemporary Pop Art works that combine recognisable imagery with a refined, almost architectural sense of composition. Gold is an essential element of her visual language — not simply a symbol of wealth or luxury, but a way to question the value people assign to objects, status, beauty, and desire.

Her works often exist between glamour and irony. Familiar symbols of popular culture, fashion, consumerism, and everyday life are transformed into visually striking compositions where luxury becomes both an attraction and a subject for reflection. Behind the decorative surface lies an interest in the psychology of desire: why certain images captivate us, why we associate beauty with value, and how contemporary culture shapes our perception of success and identity.
