Sonali Shah

I am Sonali Shah, a homemaker turned artist who has found her true calling in the world of painting. From landscapes to various subjects, I bring nature to life with vibrant hues and captivating brushstrokes. My journey in art began in my childhood, with a deep interest in drawing that was further nurtured by the stunning places I have had the privilege to visit.

In 2000, I graduated from J.J. School of Arts in Mumbai, and even during my college years, my talent was recognized when I won a national award for poster design on the important topic of Anti-Dowry campaign. Following my graduation, I ventured into freelance work in advertising, designing ads, posters, and brochures. However, my heart has always been drawn to the world of art.

In 2019, I rediscovered my passion for painting and realized that it is my true calling. My inspiration predominantly comes from the breathtaking places I have explored, the natural beauty that surrounds us, and the rich traditional art that our country is blessed with. Through my paintings, I aim to capture the essence of the places I have visited, the scenic wonders I have witnessed, and the remarkable people I have encountered.

1. June 2023 -One of my paintings got selected for Kalamaharshi Baburao Painter, National Level Exhibition and Competition.
My painting got exhibited in Pune alongwith more than 500 artworks from artist all over India.
