Milan Ivanic is from former Czechoslovakia. He studied in Prague before coming to the UK in 1970.
He says:
'Pictures that you can look at again and again and always get something new from them - that is what I want to make.'
He has had one-man exhibitions at Keele University, Wolfson College, Oxford, The Clyde Bertrand Gallery, Stockton, California, Aston University Arts Centre, The Terrace Gallery, Worthing, and The BBC, Manchester. His work has been included in numerous exhibitions, and is in private collections in the UK, the US, Canada, Norway, Australia, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
He is included in Buckman's "˜Artists in Britain since 1945'.
