Sergey Beglaryan

I have been creating sculpture for 35 years. When I first found natural stones in the mountains of Armenia I was fascinated by the patterns they held and the array of color shades they had. I felt that I could shape those stones and ultimately marry their natural patterns, the inherent colours and the images in my head to give those stones a voice and tell a compelling story to the world.

All pieces of sculpture I create are original artwork, I do not create copies as each stone I find has its soul and energy that I believe cannot be replicated.

I live in Yerevan, Armenia. I am happy that my works are in private collections around the world.
