Regan Bothma

My love for artwork stems from my childhood growing up in Africa, where I learnt to paint wildlife at a young age.

I have spent the last 25 years developing my art style through multiple mediums, conveying my passion for nature in my artwork.

The creativity and artistic vision I have for the subject matter is done in a realistic and recognizable way, keeping true to the medium I use. I like to go to great lengths to study, sketch and think about conveying a mood and an energy in my pieces, ensuring that the viewer feels a deep connection.

I like to create large scale artwork while keeping in mind detail, tonal range, rich brush marks and a colorful palette.
