Anísio Magalhães (1951) is a Brazilian photographer considered one of the greatest talents in world photography, thanks to his incomparable ability to immortalize regional cultures through his photographs.
When he was only 8 years old, he got his first "Kodak" camera, and since that time he had a dream, to visit Brazil.
A little older, he began to prepare developers, film fixers and black and white paper at Mercedes-Benz, where he also began to photograph in his own laboratory, from pieces to visits that came to the factory such as: Pelé, Emerson Fittipaldi , etc.
Over time, he secured his place in the advertising department, where cultural magazines, books and art calendars were made, which were distributed throughout Brazil and abroad.
After graduating, he became the first journalist to graduate from Mercedes-Benz in Brazil, producing photographs throughout Brazil and Latin America.
He was awarded twice as best photographer by ABERJE - Brazilian Association of Company Magazine and Newspaper Editors. He made reports in Chile at the time of Augusto Pinochet. He photographed the Pantanal for art books and Mercedes-Benz calendars, gold mining on the Madeira River, the Indians in Xingú, Luiz Gonzaga in Recife, Frank Sinatra in Rio...
