I've painted in oils and acrylics and done printmaking for many years, but my primary medium is now paper collage and artist"s books. I have traveled extensively, my interest in travel and other cultures is reflected in the use of different languages in my artist's books and language collages and in my landscape images. I often use handmade and painted papers as well as photocopies, my own drawings and script. In much of my work I manipulate the text in a purely visual form as pattern, without regard to its meaning, in other works the content of the language is important to me.
